Add aerial data to your precision agriculture workflow
Aerial imaging reveals things that are difficult or impossible to detect at ground level. Soil variation, moisture content, irrigation issues, even pest infestations become visible from the air. Near Infrared (NIR) and Normalized Difference Vegetative Index (NDVI) images can be combined with visible light images to highlight problem areas to very precise resolutions. This allows farmers to fine-tune watering, and fertilizer and pesticide applications, reducing cost and increasing crop yields, while minimizing negative environmental impact. Regular surveys of a crop during season can track changes and allows early intervention to prevent problems before they start.
Scouting becomes a thing of the past. Our drones cover large fields very quickly, returning NDVI and NIR images that contain information that can’t be seen by the human eye. You get more and better data, you get it in hours rather than days, and at much lower cost.
Irrigation equipment monitoring is a challenge. Don’t spend hours or days tracking down leaky pipes and problems in pivot systems. Our aerial data includes moisture variation that can quickly pinpoint irrigation problems, saving water and money, and improving crop health.
Our NDVI data can be processed to distinguish between weeds and healthy crops. The resulting weed map allows you to precisely control weeds.
We can set you up with regular surveys to provide data to you and your agronomist or agriculture consultant. Periodic surveys help to monitor plant health and detect problems early.
